It is with a heavy heart to announce that Yvette Tanner passed away on October 13, 2026,within the grace of both family and friends. Yvette was 58 years young. Through her passing, she leaves her husband, Patrick; three children, James, Jessica, and Julie; and granddaughter Emma.
Yvette's childhood upbringing and involvement in cheer led her to becoming quite an outspoken person. A fact only enhanced by her willpower and perseverance. She was a woman of agency. It is through her own volition that she became the greatest binding force and cook in the Tanner Family, taking on the often-unrecognized task with the same determination we remember her for. Her passion for cooking made the love for the family nearly self-evident. In addition to this, Yvette was an avid member of the crocheting community, taking pride in her craft while making wonderful friends along the way. In both responsibilities, she continued to provide, even in her worst days. It is for these reasons and countless more that Yvette is remembered as an exceptional mom, wife, daughter, sister, and friend.
Yvette gradually lost the capability to be self-sufficient due to cancer. Both family and friends were able to aid her throughout this difficult chapter, thanks in large part to her life-long efforts to support the family and engage in her community. It had been clear that Yvette was not alone in her difficult battle. While her life was cut short, Yvette was everything she needed to be and more. This makes it much harder to talk about her passing, regrettably. This has undeniably left a scar in all of our hearts.
May she rest in peace.
