William Edward Valentine, 66, was born on December 24, 1954 to William Ralph Valentine and Dorothy L. Wiever, and entered into eternal rest on June 23, 2021 in Alhambra, California.
Bill grew up in East Los Angeles where he met many lifelong friends and developed his love of music and baseball. He played in various bands in the 70s and 80s, including Nobody's Baby, The Tumbling Dice, and The Blenders. He graduated from Schurr High School and later returned to his Alma Mater where he coached Freshman and JV baseball teams for the past five years. Bill received his bachelor's degree from Cal State Los Angeles.
He met his wife, Chrissy, in 1994 and they married in 1996. They celebrated 25 years together this past January. Bill bravely fought a brief battle with cancer and passed away with Chrissy at his side.
William is survived by his loving wife, Chrissy Quesada-Valentine, sister-in-law, Suzy Weekley, niece, Alison Weekley, and nephew, Joshua Weekley, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews and other family and friends who will miss him dearly.
A celebration of Bill's life will be held on July 22 at The Maxwell House, 55 South Grand Ave, Pasadena , CA from 12-3pm. The venue requires PROOF OF COVID VACCINATION OR A NEGATIVE COVID TEST (within 7 days)
