Wesley Eugene Duerksen
November 24, 1916 — July 19, 2015
Wesley Eugene Duerksen was born to Daniel Duerksen and Agnes Eitizen on November 24, 1916 in Fresno, California and entered into eternal rest on July 19, 2015 at his residence in Downey, California. He was 98 years old. Wesley proudly served his country in the United States Army during WWII and was given an Honorable Discharge. Wesley previously worked as a Type setter for the Los Angeles Times for over 30 years.
Wesley is survived by his children, Robert Duerksen of Eureka, CA, Timothy (Lynn) Duerksen of Oregon and Kathy (Tom) Allen of Irvine. He also leaves his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Wesley is also survived by his sisters Esther Oakey of Stanton and Elma (Ray) Loyd of Grover Beach, CA.
