Warren Robert Shaw was born fourth of twelve children on September 17, 1931 in Makoti, North Dakota to parents Lawrence and Beatrice Shaw and passed away on October 16, 2015 at the age of 84.
Warren played Forward Guard Varsity Letterman Basketball. He graduated from Makoti High School Class of 1950. Warren worked on his parents farm in North Dakota and also built grain elevators. He entered into the Marine Corps in March 1952 and served to February 1954 with service in Japan. Boot Camp was in M.C.R.D. in San Diego and training at
Camp Pendleton, CA. Warren married Nancy Hrabak on May 08, 1954 in California.
They lived together in Lakewood, CA 1955-1964. He participated in Christmas Home Decorating
Contest and was awarded the sweepstakes trophy in 1962 and 1963.He then moved to Downey, CA 1964 and lived there until his passing. Warren was a Precision Tool and Die Maker for more than 25 years. He worked in Property Management in Downey for more than 50 years and was a board member of Bethany Baptist Christian School during 1970’s. Warren's hobbies include Model Train Railroad, Camping & Fishing, He also enjoyed Christmas Home Decorating, visiting the beauty of America’s National Parks such as Yosemite, Grand Canyon, Grand Teton, Mount Rushmore, and Yellowstone.
Warren was greeted at Heaven's gate by his wife Nancy Shaw who preceded him in death on January 16, 2014. He is survived by his loving Daughter Susan Shaw, Sister-In-Law Ruth Witt, nephew Ed Witt and Family, nephew Joe Sieber and Family. He also leaves behind his surviving brothers and sisters: Evernne Novodvorsky, Boyd Shaw, Gary Shaw, Curtis Shaw, Edna Zenz, Margaret Lange, his beloved Aunt Irene Spensley and numerous nieces and nephews.
