Ventura "Betty" Castro was born to Pabla and Delores Martinez on July 14, 1915 in Mexico and entered into eternal rest on August 30, 2016 at her home in Montebello, California. She was 101 years old. Betty was a devoted homemaker and dedicated 70 years of her life to caring for her loving family.
Betty is survived by her loving husband Francisco Castro of Montebello and her three sons; Frank (Cecilia) Castro of Downey, Ray (Petra) Castro of Long Beach, Robery (Enny) Castro of Huntington Beach. She also leaves behind her grandchildren; Marie Escamilla of Rancho Cucamonga. Teresa Castro of Downey, Patricia Gagnon of Torrance, Richard Castro of Downey, Valerie Olvera of Long Beach, Leslie Guevara of Long Beach and 4 great great grandchildren. Betty was greeted at heaven's gate by her daughter Margaret Castro who preceded her in death.
