Silvestre Salgado, 90, was born in Iguala, Guerrero, Mexico on December 31, 1931 to Elfego Salgado and Margarita Cardenas. He entered into rest on November 7, 2022 in Whittier, California.
He lived in Santa Fe Springs for over 20 years, and brought joy to many people through music as a mariachi for more than 50 years, playing with many groups including Mariachi Tequila. He was loved and will be missed by many of his friends and family.
Silvestre was greeted at Heaven's Gate by his wife, Virginia Salgado.
