Saul Esquivel, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on November 13, 2025, in Downey, California, at the age of 75. Born on May 8, 1950, in Mexico, Saul dedicated his life to the service of others, finding purpose in his career as a Cemetery Grounds Keeper for 40 years. His deep understanding of loss and his respectful demeanor created a lasting impact on all who crossed his path.

Saul is survived by his beloved wife, Teresa Esquivel of Downey. He was a proud father to his daughter, Susana McAllister (Bryan) of Dallas, OR, and his son, Saul Esquivel Jr. (Alicia) of Whittier. His legacy continues through his cherished grandsons: Jacob Lopez of Riverside, and Saul Z. Esquivel, Samuel Esquivel, and Benjamin Esquivel, all of Whittier, along with James Lopez of Dallas, OR.

He was met at Heaven's Gate by his loving son, Noel Esquivel, who had predeceased him.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on November 25, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM, at Risher Mortuary & Cremation Service located at 1316 W Whittier Blvd, Montebello, CA. The funeral service will begin at 10:30 AM, concluding with a burial at All Souls Cemetery in Long Beach at 1:00 PM.

Saul Esquivel will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his commitment to his work, and the countless lives he touched throughout his journey. His spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
