SARAH CEBALLOS

SARAH NEGRETE CEBALLOS, a cherished member of the Montebello community, was born on January 10, 1925, in Montebello, CA. She peacefully departed this life on June 6, 2025, in her beloved hometown, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and dedication.

Sarah dedicated 25 years of her life to her career as a retail clerk at Sears, where her friendly demeanor and hard work made a lasting impression on colleagues and customers alike. Her commitment to her profession reflected her deep sense of responsibility and community spirit.

Family was of paramount importance to Sarah. She is survived by her loving brother, Joe Ceballos, and her dear sister, Lupe Bejar. The joy of her life was amplified by her numerous nieces and nephews, who will carry forth the cherished memories they shared with her.

Sarah was preceded in death by her brothers, Benito Ceballos, Henry Ceballos, and Frank Ceballos, as well as her sister, Mary Flores. Their memories remain close to the hearts of her surviving family.

A celebration of Sarah's life will be held on July 2, 2025, starting with visitation at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Benedict Church, located at 1022 West Cleveland Avenue, Montebello, CA. She will then be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery, situated at 966 Potrero Grande Drive, Rosemead, CA, where the burial is set to begin at 11:30 AM.

Sarah Negrete Ceballos will be remembered for her kindness, resilience, and the joy she brought to those who knew her. Her legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who celebrate her remarkable life.
