Salvador Hernandez, Jr. a father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, to many in the Hernandez, Marquez, Garcia families passed away peacefully on Thursday, 10/09/2014. He was a gifted hairstylist & musician. He loved cars, motorcycles, and anything that moved fast. His favorite food: chile colorado. He served his country for four years in the U.S. Air Force in San Antonio, TX, and received an honorable discharge August 1955. He was full of kindness, love, laughter and a gentle spirit. We celebrate that he accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. We have that assurance that we will see him again. A family memorial has been planned at a later date.
Salvador is survived by his son, Salvador Hernandez of San Gabriel, his daughter, Connie Elizabeth Hernandez Elaaraj of San Gabriel, his grandchildren, Joyce Hernandez of San Gabriel, Kevin (Jasmine Marie) Hernandez of Omaha, Nebraska, Nicole Hernandez of San Francisco, Alexander Hernandez and Christopher Hernandez, both of Whittier, Erick Elarraj, Mohammed Elaaraj and Nadia Elaaraj, all of San Gabriel. He also leaves his great grandson, Kristoph Augustin Hernandez of Omaha, Nebraska, his sisters, Guadalupe Marquez of Montebello and Mary Ellen Garcia of Duarte and numerous nieces and nephews.
