RUTH MADELINE JIMENEZ Profile Photo

Ruth Jimenez was born in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, the eldest of four siblings. From a young age, she carried the weight of responsibility with grace and love. She was more than a sister, she was a second mother, a protector, a guiding light. And that strength never left her, It only grew.

If you knew Ruth, you knew she was full of life. She had a huge personality, larger than life, really. She could walk into a room and instantly become the center of it, not because she demanded attention, but because her energy was magnetic. She was hilarious, always quick with a comeback, always convinced she was the funniest person in the room. And honestly? Most of the time, she was. She was also a huge Dodgers fan, passionate, loyal, and loud in the best way. Watching a game with her was an experience all its own.

She loved fiercely. Her daughters, her grandson, her siblings, her cousins, her nieces and nephews, her friends—and yes, even strangers. It was impossible not to love her. She had that rare gift of making everyone feel seen, heard, and valued.

The greatest joy of her life, though, was her grandson, Nicholas. She loved him more than life itself, and she was so very proud of him. He gave her so much happiness, and the bond they shared was truly something special.

We honor our mother not just with tears, but with laughter, with stories, with love. Because that’s how she lived—and that’s how she’d want to be remembered.

So let’s carry her spirit forward. Let’s be bold. Let’s be kind. Let’s laugh loudly and love deeply. Let’s live like Ruth.

Thank you, Mom. For everything. We will love you forever.
