Rosario Z. Lupercio passed away on October 15, 2026, in Whittier, California, one day after her 93rd birthday. She was born on October 14, 1933, in Nayarit, Mexico, and lived a long life marked by devotion to her family and steady, dedicated work.

Rosario worked for See’s Candy for 25 years as a sorter and packer. Through those many years, she contributed her time and effort with commitment and care, and her work became one of the lasting parts of her life’s story.

Family was at the heart of Rosario’s life. She is survived by her daughter, Lillian Lupercio, and her son, Edward Lupercio. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren and one great-grandson, who carry forward her memory with love. Rosario was preceded in death by her husband, Leonardo; her son, Danny; her daughter, Rose; her sisters, Maria, Teresa, and Lupe; and her brothers, Manuel and Francisco.

Those who knew Rosario will remember a woman whose life was rooted in enduring love for her family and in the quiet strength shown through years of work and perseverance. Her memory will remain in the hearts of those who knew her and in the generations of her family who continue to cherish her.

Visitation will be held on November 12, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Risher Mortuary & Cremation Service, 1316 W Whittier Blvd, Montebello, California 90640. Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Resurrection Cemetery, 966 Potrero Grande Drive, Rosemead, California 91770.
