Regino Dayag Susim, affectionately known as Reggie Susim, was born on September 7, 1961, in the Philippines. He passed away on October 19, 2025, in West Covina, California, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and dedication.
Reggie dedicated over 15 years of his life to the role of warehouse manager, where he was known not just for his hard work but also for his exceptional ability to connect with those around him. He was a well-respected figure in his professional life and was considered a tough boss. Yet, it was his jovial nature that truly resonated with those who knew him. With a spirit that could light up any room, he brought smiles to faces and became a beloved presence in the lives of many.
A man of varied interests, Reggie was passionate about sports, particularly golf, and spent hours enjoying games and events. Overjoyed by the simple pleasures, he found great joy in cooking, horse racing, and indulging in an occasional poker game. His heart, however, belonged to his family. Known for being both loving and caring, he cherished his roles as husband, father, and grandfather. His deep affection for his wife Cathy, his children, Ryan (Angela), Rhett, and Katt (Pedro), along with his grandchildren Sean, Kailah, Leilani, and an anticipated baby girl, was evident in everything he did.
He is survived by his loving wife Cathy Susim, sons Ryan and Rhett, daughter Katt, grandchildren Sean, Kailah, Leilani, and the one on the way, his mother Nenita Lemons, and his brother Renato Susim. He was preceded in death by his son Rommel Susim.
The visitation for Regino Dayag Susim will take place on November 3, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a Rosary service at 6:00 PM, at Risher Mortuary & Cremation Service located at 1316 W Whittier Blvd, Montebello, CA 90640. A Funeral Service will be held the following day, November 4, 2025, starting at 9:30 AM and concluding at 11:30 AM at the same location.
Reggie will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend, whose infectious laughter and unwavering dedication were profound gifts to all who were fortunate enough to know him. His spirit will undoubtedly remain alive in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
