Raymond Daniel Reyes, a cherished member of the Montebello community, passed away on June 5, 2026, in Tucson, Arizona. Born on December 2, 1971, in Montebello, CA, Raymond lived a life marked by dedication, creativity, and a profound love for family and friends.

Raymond was a skilled aircraft painter, contributing his talents to the aerospace industry in Torrance, California. His meticulous attention to detail and commitment to excellence defined his career and earned him respect among his colleagues. Before embarking on his professional journey, Raymond attended South Gate High School, where he laid the foundation for his future endeavors.

Beyond his work, Raymond was a man of many passions and interests. He found joy in music, expressing himself through playing the drums, harmonica, and bongos. His energetic spirit extended to physical activities such as weightlifting, biking, skateboarding, and boxing, demonstrating his zest for life. Raymond also delighted in cooking, sharing his love for good food with those around him.

He will be remembered for his love of family, his many talents, and the joy he brought to those who knew him. Raymond’s legacy lives on in the hearts of his beloved sons, Raymond Reyes and Vincent Reyes, and his granddaughter, Raylene Reyes. He is also survived by his devoted mother, Rachel Reyes; siblings Issac Reyes, Rico Reyes, and Annette Aimaq; as well as nieces, nephews, and his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, all of whom hold his memory dear.

Raymond was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Arnold Reyes, whose presence remains a guiding light in the lives of his family.

A visitation to honor Raymond’s life will be held on June 30, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Risher Mortuary & Cremation Service, located at 1316 W Whittier Blvd, Montebello, CA 90640. Following this, a graveside service will take place at Rose Hills Memorial Park, 3888 Workman Mill Road, Whittier, CA 90601, beginning at 2:00 p.m.
