Ralph Vidal

Ralph Vidal, 92, was born on November 5, 1926 in Phoenix, Arizona to Francisco Vidal and Belen Tiznado and entered into eternal rest on July 13, 2019 in Monterey Park, California.
Ralph served in the Navy and loved being on the water. He was an avid fisherman with a passion for deep sea fishing with his buddies. During the time when his daughter and son were young, he surprised the family and came home hauling a ski boat so that his family could join the group of friends that had a home at Lake Mead, Nevada. His family loved being with their good friends traveling and enjoying long days boating and water skiing. Ralph loved people and entered into the restaurant business owning several Ernie’s Mexican Restaurants in Southern California. It was an income investment but for Ralph, it was more of an arena to be around people who enjoyed great food and conversation. He could play the piano by ear and had no problem stepping on stage to play with the band.
"He also loved to dance and as his daughter, I have many fond memories of dancing with my father at weddings and special occasions! People who knew him have repeatedly said they remember his story telling – he always had a story and a smile!" - Yvonne (Daughter)
Ralph married his true love, Gloria, and were married for 65 years living in the same home they bought as a newly married couple. He worked until his passing at age 92 still bringing in an income as an accountant. He very much enjoyed his home and swimming pool and loved being in his home office figuring out tax problems and solutions for his clients. He had one granddaughter who he helped raise and treated her as his daughter. He loved his family dearly, was an amazing provider, son and brother, and lived his life with truth and honesty.
Ralph passed away peacefully at his beloved home with his family by his bedside.
Ralph leaves behind his loving family: Wife, Gloria Vidal, Daughter, Yvonne Vidal, Granddaughter, Monique Burns, as well as several other family members and friends who loved him and will miss him dearly.
