Rafael Gonzalez-Vega (lovingly referred to as Li, Rafa, and “Papi Li” to his family) was born in Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico, on May 2, 1944.
Rafael was an incredibly sociable individual, had a kind heart, and loved to make everyone laugh and smile. You could always count on him to help anyone in need. He loved his family and friends dearly and was sure to make them feel loved. He also had a soft spot for animals and children having fun.
Rafael is survived by his wife, Rosario, his children, Lisa, Fatima, and Rafael, and his granddaughters, Krystal and Kayla. He loved his family dearly, and his children regard him as the most selfless man in the world, as they credit him for the strong foundation he provided with good morals and manners which make them the individuals that they are today.
