Pilar Martinez Garten, 97, was born in Mexico on October 12, 1915 and passed away peacefully at her residence in Montebello, CA. on December 27, 2012. She was in the Real Estate business for over 50 years.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at 9:00 AM at St. Alphonsus Church in East Los Angeles, followed by burial at Calvary Cemetery, also in East Los Angeles.
Pilar is survived by her son John Garten of Newport Beach, CA., and her grandsons Michael Garten of Salinas, CA and Andrew Garten of Bellingham, WA.
