Olimpia Alonso, born on December 17, 1937, in Havana, Cuba, passed away on January 18, 2026, in Downey, California. A cherished figure in the lives of her family and friends, she was known for her warm spirit and nurturing nature.
With love and care, Olimpia devoted much of her time making her home a warm and welcoming place for family and friends. Her ability to create an atmosphere of comfort and love left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
Olimpia is survived by her beloved sons, Tomas Rodda and Danny Perez, and her daughter, Ivette Rodda. She leaves behind a legacy of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Together, they carry forward her legacy of kindness and hospitality.
A graveside service in honor of Olimpia will be held on January 28, 2026, at Park Lawn Cemetery in Commerce, California. The service will commence at 1:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to come together to celebrate her life and the lasting impact she had on the hearts of so many.
