Miguel Antonio Vasquez, a dedicated salesman in the auto repair industry for over 37 years, passed away peacefully in Downey, California, on December 19, 2025, at the age of 67. Born on April 13, 1958, in Mexico, Miguel's journey through life was characterized by his unwavering commitment to his family and profession.
Throughout his extensive career, Miguel built lasting relationships with colleagues and customers alike, earning a respected place in the industry. His determination and strong work ethic were hallmarks of his character, attributes that he passed down to his beloved family.
Miguel is survived by his devoted wife, Joann Santos, who stood by his side through all of life's adventures. Together, they raised four sons: Steven, Michael, Matthew, and Brandon, each of whom carry forward their father's legacy in their own unique ways. His daughters, Rena and Melodie, were not only cherished children but also sources of pride for Miguel, who showered them with love and encouragement.
As a grandfather, Miguel found joy in his seven grandchildren: Jacob Sanchez, Noah Sanchez, Jazzlin Sanchez, Eileen Sanchez, Layla Vasquez, Baby Matthew Vasquez, and Christopher Vasquez. He took great delight in sharing stories, laughter, and life lessons with them, creating memories that will be treasured for years to come.
In addition to his immediate family, Miguel is survived by his sisters, Mary Luque and Angelica Chacana, whose bond with him was an integral part of his life.
A memorial service to honor Miguel Antonio Vasquez will be held at Risher Mortuary & Cremation Service in Montebello, California, on January 31, 2026, beginning at 10:00 AM. Friends and family are invited to gather and celebrate the remarkable life he led, reflecting on the many ways he touched the hearts and lives of those around him.
Miguel's legacy will continue to shine in the lives of his loved ones, who will forever hold him in their hearts.
