Mary loved to read the news paper everyday, to keep abreast of what was happening around the world, as well as her local area.
Mary also loved when her family would visit her and each time she would insist that she send you off with food to feed your family.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, January 18, 2013 at 9:00am at Our Lady of Soledad Church, 4561 E. Cesar E. Chavez, East Los Angeles, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00am. Interment will be held at Resurrection Cemetery.

A Poem for Grandma from Grandson Michael Gomez
The legend of our history chapter
Now I know you're smiling down
From the here after
With daughter in hand
Loved one's at your feet
You've reached the gates of heaven
For the opportunity to meet
Today is your day
To roam the heaven's where the angels play
A day in which your heart can rest
So your soul may rise
Today is the day we bid you farewell
As we say our goodbye's for now
Till we reunite
You leave us a story of love a century of memories
Forever Grandma Mary you will remain in our hearts
