MARY CONCEPCION GUZMAN

Mary Concepcion Guzman, a cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2025, in Anaheim, California at the age of 84. Born on December 8, 1940, in Los Angeles, California, Mary dedicated her life to serving others, working as a social worker for the Los Angeles County Department of Public Social Services for over 30 years. Her commitment to her profession reflected her deep compassion and tireless advocacy for those in need.

Mary was a vibrant individual who embraced life with enthusiasm and joy. She had a passion for walking and maintained an active lifestyle, which brought her great fulfillment. Her love for exercise was not just a personal journey; it inspired family and friends to cherish their health and well-being.

She is survived by her beloved daughters, Esther Ortiz, Sandra Pena, and Elizabeth Guzman; her sons, John Guzman and Octavio Guzman; as well as 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. These family members will forever carry on her legacy of love, strength, and kindness.

Mary's visitation will be held on October 17, 2025, starting at 2:30 PM at Risher Mortuary & Cremation Service located at 1316 W Whittier Blvd, Montebello, CA 90640, followed by a Rosary at 3:00 PM.
