MARIA PIEDAD ROGERS, born on February 21, 1930, in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2026, in Seal Beach, California. Maria lived a rich and meaningful life, marked by enduring devotion to her family and a heartfelt commitment to creating a warm, inviting home for all who knew her.

Throughout her ninety-six years, Maria demonstrated a steadfast love for her family, always ensuring that her home was not only a place of shelter but also one filled with laughter, kindness, and hospitality. Friends and relatives will fondly remember Maria as someone who welcomed them with open arms, making every visit memorable and filled with affection.

Maria is survived by her loving daughter, Anna Woyjeck (Joe) of Seal Beach; her devoted brother, Ray Paz (Janet) of Phoenix, Arizona; her cherished grandchildren, Robert Woyjeck (Amanda) of Long Beach and Madeline Woyjeck Bryson (Wyatt) of Seal Beach; as well as her nieces, Tracey Gotisis (Dino) and Tammy Paz-Combs (Tim). Her legacy extends to four great-grandchildren and three great-nephews and nieces, all of whom brought her immense joy and pride.

Maria was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ralph Rogers; her son, Robert Rogers; her father, Ramon Paz, and mother, Enedina Paz; her grandson, Kevin Woyjeck; her nephew, Joseph Paz; and her sister, Amanda Paz. Though they have gone before her, the love Maria shared with each of them continues to flourish in the hearts of those who remain.

Among her proudest accomplishments was the care and attention she gave to the life she built for herself and her loved ones. Maria’s dedication and spirit have left an enduring mark on all who were fortunate to know her.

As family and friends mourn her loss, they also celebrate the extraordinary woman she was and the countless ways she enriched their lives. Her warmth, generosity, and loving nature will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
