Maria is survived by her loving children, daughters, Dora Luna of Hacienda Heights, Teresa Tovar of Monterrey, Mexico, Marisela Casas of Rancho Cucamonga, sons, Pedro Ayala of Hacienda Heights, Fernando Luna of Hacienda Heights, Manuel Tovar of Monterrey, Mexico, Miguel Tovar of Monterrey, Mexico, Juan Tovar of La Puente, Braulio Tovar of Fontana, twenty-eight grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Thursday, March 5, 2009 at Risher Mortuary Chapel in Montebello, California, with the vigil beginning at 7:00 pm.
Funeral mass will be at 9:00 am on Friday, March 6, 2009, at Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Pico Rivera, California, with interment following at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, California.
