Destiny. To believe that a life is meant for a single purpose, one must also believe in a common fate. Father to daughter, brother to sister, mother to child. Blood ties can be as unyielding as they are eternal. But it is our bonds of choice that truly light the road we travel. Love versus hatred. Loyalty against betrayal. A person's true destiny can only be revealed at the end of his/her journey, and the story of Maria Narcisa Flores has to tell is far from over.
A viewing will be held on Friday, January 11, 2013 from 10:00-11:00am at the Risher Montebello Mortuary chapel, with a graveside service at 11:30am at Resurrection Cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Gilbert Preciado of Riverside, her nephew, Albert Flores of La Mirada, her sisters, Hermila Flores of La Mirada and Henrietta Flores of Mexico and her brother, Jose Flores of Colorado. She also leaves her grandsons, Ivan Salcedo and Gil A. Rodriguez, both of La Mirada.
