Maria Luisa Elliott Profile Photo
Maria "Mary" Luisa Elliott, 77, was born on January 29, 1944 in Mexico to Jose Aldecoa and Maria Barnett, and entered into eternal rest on June 6, 2021 in Whittier, Califoria.

Maria dedicated over 30 years of hard work while employed as a court interpreter for the Los Angeles County Superior Court.

From the family:
Our dear mother, grandmother, and great grandmother; Maria Luisa, loved her career as a Spanish-English Court Interpreter, working at the Criminal Courts Building in Downtown Los Angeles. She was especially proud to be federally certified, which the examination is not easy to pass. She read music notes and had a love for the piano. She also had a love of photography, and had her own dark room. Her creativity was also expressed in the kitchen. For many years, we all enjoyed her tamales which were made from scratch with love, on Christmas Eve. We loved her homemade salsa as well. Her desserts included flan, and a variety of pies, among other delights too numerous to list. She was an elegant lady, hair and make-up done perfectly, and always stylishly dressed. She loved to travel and had a zest for life. She lived her life to the fullest. Although she will be dearly missed, she will continue to live on in our hearts.

Maria is survived by her loving family: Sons, Joseph Anthony Ramos (Christine) of Whittier, Ca., Jason Alan Ramos (Angelita) of Whittier, Ca., Jonathan Andrew Aldecoa of Whittier, Ca., Grandchildren, Jacob Ramos, Tommy Blanchard, Jennica Ramos, Timmy Blanchard, Jared Ramos, Gina Ramos, Xavier Ramos, Rebekah Ramos, Great Grandchildren, Aria Ramos, Selena Blanchard, Brothers, Joe "Pepe" Aldecoa, Fernando Aldecoa (Beth), along with other family and friends who will miss her dearly.

Maria was reunited at the gates of Heaven by her loving husband, Charles Elliott, and her parents, Jose and Maria Aldecoa. Her husband and parents preceded her in death.
