Maria Carrillo Avila was born to Carmen Avila and Felix Carrillo on July 4, 1944 in Aguas Calientes, Mexico and entered into eternal rest on January 17, 2016 in Whittier, California. She was 71 years old.
Maria is survived by her husband Rodrigo Vargas of Cudahay and her 7 children; daughter Irma Leticia Vargas Carrillo (Salvador Marin) of San Diego, son Ricardo (Samantha) Vargas of 29 Palms, daughter Hermelinda (Trinidad) Luna of Ontario, son Rodrigo Vargas of Ontario, daughter Martha (Omar) Ruiz of Lancaster, son Roberto Vargas of Mexico and daughter Rosalinda Briseno of Lancaster. She also leaves behind 34 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Maria was greeted at Heavens Gate by her daughter Ashley Delatorre and her mother Carmen Avila who both preceded her in death (2001/2005).
