LYNNE DUANE "NICOLE" STEWART, a radiant soul and a formidable figure in the fashion industry, passed away on July 26, 2025, in beautiful Newport Beach, California. Born on September 18, 1945, in Stafford, Connecticut, Nicole’s vibrant spirit touched the lives of many over her remarkable journey of nearly eight decades.

With a career that spanned more than fifty years, Nicole made her mark as a model, instructor, and coordinator, inspiring countless individuals along the way. Her zeal for life and passion for fashion were infectious, and those who had the privilege of working alongside her admired not only her talent but also her kind heart and unwavering dedication to her craft.

Nicole was a loving and devoted family member. She is survived by her cherished spouse, Warren Stewart of Seal Beach, California, who stood steadfastly by her side through life’s many chapters. Her legacy continues through her beloved children: daughter Emilie Menghin, who resides in Munich, Germany with her spouse Stefan; and son Christopher Stewart from Irvine, California. Nicole took immense joy in being a grandmother to her five grandchildren — Aurelia and Tristan Menghin, as well as William, Amber, and Ethan Stewart — each of whom brought an abundance of laughter and love into her life.

Nicole was preceded in death by her parents, Dudley and Antoinette Gaouette, and her dear brother, Dudley Gaouette. Their memories were a guiding light throughout her life, shaping the extraordinary woman she became.

As we celebrate the life of Nicole Stewart, we remember her for the vibrant energy she brought into every room and the profound love she had for her family and friends.
