Lorraine Elizabeth Long was born to Matthew and Elsie Meirose on November 11, 1930 in Wynot, Nebraska and entered into eternal rest on October 24, 2016 at her home in Lakewood, California. She was 85 years old.

She was a woman who loved life, her family, and her church time. She is a woman

Lorraine is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Charles Wesley Long of Lakewood, California and her four sons; Chuck (Sheila) Long of Norman, Oklahoma, David (Lisa) Long of Bellflower, California, Robert (Cindy Stadler) Long of Bellflower, California and Gary (Cecilia) Long of Hacienda Heights, California. She also leaves behind 9 grandchildren; Matthew (Jessica) Long of Loveland, Colorado, Rachel Long of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Michelle (Daniel) Ofsthun of Noble, Oklahoma, Ryan Long of Norman, Oklahoma, Daniel Long of Bellflower, California, Laura (Nick) Monzon of Bellflower, California, Kimberly Campuzano of Covina, California, Kevin Reyes of Hacienda Heights, California and Brian Reyes of Hacienda Heights, California as well as 3 great-grandchildren and her sister Carolyn (Jim) Whitten of Hemet, California.
