Lela Afonin, 94, was born on October 9, 1914 in Flatwillow, Montana, and passed away on February 9, 2009 in La Mirada, California.
Lela is survived by her loving daughters, Mary Bandy of San Pedro, Lucille Ciminski of West Covina, son, Don Afonin of Montebello, twelve grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm on Friday, February 13, 2009 at the Risher Mortuary Chapel in Montebello, California.
