Juana is survived by her loving daughters, Rosemary Alvarez-Ernes of Arizona, Belen Alvarez-Jeske of Chino, Delia Alvarez of Arizona, and sons, Robert Alvarez of Los Angeles, Jose Alvarez Jr. of Whittier. She also leaves 12 grandchildren and 18 great- grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Thursday, August 13, 2009 at Risher Mortuary Chapel in Montebello, California.
Funeral mass will be at 9:00 am on Friday, August 14, 2009, at Saint Benedict Catholic Church 1022 W. Cleveland Ave., Montebello, California Interment will follow at the Resurrection Cemetery 966 N. Potrero Grande Dr., Montebello, California.
