Jose was a great person, and very loved by his family and friends. He loved to listen to music, mostly cumbias. If he was at home, no matter what he was doing, he would have his music at full volume. Not only would he listen to cumbias, he would dance to them as well. He was a great dancer, he enjoyed dancing cumbias at every party. Not only did he enjoy dancing at parties, he was a cake and candy lover as well. He always had the biggest piece of cake and a goody bag. He will be missed very much.
Jose is survived by his loving Wife, Rosa Reyes Vargas, his Daughter, Rosa Isela Vargas (Lino Lara, husband), of Mexico City, and his Son, Jose Antonio Vargas Jr, of Mexico City. He leaves behind his Grandchildren, Griselda Lara (Amancio Rojas, husband), of Los Angeles, CA, Angel Lara, of Los Angeles, CA, Susana Lara, of Los Angeles, CA, Karolina Lara, of Los Angeles, CA, Cristina Vargas, of Los Angeles, CA, and Daisy Vargas, of Los Angeles, CA, as well as his Great Grandchildren, Alfredo Lara, of Los Angeles, CA, Emily Lara, of Los Angeles, CA, Jessy Rojas, of Los Angeles, CA, and Irene Rojas, of Los Angeles, CA. He leaves behind his siblings, Ana Maria Vargas (Jesus Flores, husband), of Mexico City, Armando Vargas (Patricia Hernandez, wife), of Mexico City, Arturo Vargas (Dolores Islas, wife), of Mexico City, Veronica Vargas, of Mexico City, Ernesto Vargas, of Mexico City, and Beatriz Vargas, of Mexico City.
Jose was greeted at Heaven's Gate by his parents, Miguel Vargas and Dolores Hernandez, and his siblings Teresa Vargas, Miguel Angel Vargas, and German Vargas.
