Jose Ignacio Hernandez

Jose Ignacio “Nacho” Hernandez was born in Los Angeles, California on February 10, 1977. He attended 49th Street Elementary, Carver Middle School, and Roosevelt High School. Nacho married Esmeralda Gomez on June 30, 2001. He worked at Vortex as a door repair technician for many years prior to accepting a position at University of Southern California as a door specialist. Nacho’s favorite past times were watching his favorite team, the Boston Red Sox, and spending time with his loved ones. He enjoyed playing with his many nieces and nephews and making everyone laugh. He would often entertain those around him with stories of his many adventures at work. He will be missed greatly by his friends and family.
Jose is survived by his parents, Vicente and Maria Hernandez of Anaheim, CA, and his siblings, Jose G. Hernandez (Rosa) of Placentia, CA, Jose Hernandez (Michelle) of Walnut, CA, Susana Hernandez of Los Angeles, CA, and Maria C. Hernandez of Anaheim, CA. He also leaves behind 5 nephews, 3 nieces, 4 great nephews, and 5 great nieces. He was greeted at Heaven's Gate by his loving wife of 18 years, Esmeralda Hernandez.
