Joan Deneece Walker
July 27, 1952 — January 16, 2016
Joan Deneece Walker (Kelso) passed away Jan 16, 2016 with her family by her side. She was born to the late James and Frances Kelso July, 27, 1952, in Bell, CA. She graduated from Bell High School in 1970, and has remained a steadfast Eagle her entire life. She married the late Alan Walker in 1976. They shared a love for classic automobiles and spending time with their friends.
Joan was passionate about helping people and she spent most of her life taking care of those around her. She never met anyone that didn't ultimately become her friend. She had a special way about her that could bring everyone together. She enjoyed hosting supper clubs and reunions for all of her Bell High alumni and there was nothing she enjoyed more than being surrounded by friends and making new ones in the process.
Joan is survived by her brother Jim, her sister Pat, and multiple nieces and nephews.
