Jesus Barron Ruiz was born on September 2, 1941 in Santa Barbara, Chihuahua, Mexico and passed away on January 4, 2013 in Fontana, California. Jesus was an extraordinary son, husband, father, grand father, great grand father and human being. He was the oldest of 5 children. At the young age of 11 years old, he lost his father and he soon took on the responsibility of taking care of not only his mother but also his much younger siblings. He worked at many odd jobs like shining shoes, and delivering newspapers all while he will still attending school. As he got older he continued his education and went on to graduate from college and received an accounting degree. He soon after married his wife Carmen and had five children, Carmen, Jessie, Lilly, George and David. He enjoyed bicycling, played baseball and join a fishing club name "Club de Pesca Chihuahua".
Jesus later relocated his family to Los Angeles where he eventually opened a business named "J&J Auto Electric" where he worked as an auto mechanic for the next 30 years. Meanwhile, his children grew and had children of their own and he became a grand father and great grand father. He loved helping people specially people who needed it most always thinking of everyone else but himself. He loved to start conversations with people by telling jokes and making them laugh. He finally retired in 2006 and enjoyed his retirement being around family and friends. In 2012 he became ill and soon found out he was diagnosed with Lung Cancer. He battled Cancer for one year and finally lost the battle. On Friday, January 4, 2013 our beloved Dad passed away in Fontana, California.

Jesus is survived by his loving wife, Carmen Flores of Fontana, his daughter, Carmen (Art) Rizo of Pico Rivera, his son, Jessie Barron of El Paso, Texas, his daughter, Lillian (Anthony) Barron Alonzo of Montebello, and his sons, George Barron of Fontana and David Barron of Palm Desert . He also leaves 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and his siblings, Guadalupe Becerra, Eva Lara and Humberto Barron, all of El Paso, Texas and Aurora Romero of Pico Rivera, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A Viewing will be held on Saturday from 11:00AM - 3:00PM in the Risher Montebello Mortuary Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be given for Mr. Ruiz at 11:30AM also in the Chapel.
Per Jesus' final wishes, it is requested that no one wear black to his funeral.
