Javier Ortega Jr., 44, was born in Los Angeles and passed away in Los Angeles.
Javier was employed with Gucci America as a Assistant Visual Manager for 8 years. He was a very hard worker, full of style with impeccable taste. His smile lit up the room when he walked in. Javier was a great listener, gave great advice and always put others first. He lived by the Golden Rule. He enjoyed dancing and adored his dog India.
A vigil service will be held on Monday, November 14, 2011 at 11:00 am in the Risher Montebello Mortuary Chapel, followed by a graveside service at the Resurrection Cemetery Mausoleum at 1:00 pm.
He is survived by his parents, Javier and Maria Ortega of Los Angeles, his brother and sister-in-law, Rene & Elizabeth Ortega of Whittier, his sister and brother-in-law, Adriana Ortega and Juan Reyes of Commerce, and his brothers, Adrian Ortega and Raul Rivera, both of Los Angeles. He also leaves his nephews and nieces, Francisco Quirarte-Ortega, Serena Ortega, Julian Ortega and Sarah Ortega.
