James Neal Logue, 72, was born in Sioux City, Iowa and passed away on 7/14/11 in Los Angeles, Ca. He had lived in Apple Valley for the past 6 years. Mr. Logue was previously employed with the Torrance Unified School District as a Locksmith for 34 years.

Mr. Logue was a bluegrass banjo player and was the Bluegrass Banjo Player of the Year for the Southwest Bluegrass Assoc. He volunteered at a local elementary school and taught children how to play the banjo. He loved to spend time with his family and his special dog "JJ."

A "Celebration of Life" memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at 10:00am at the Swiss Park Banquet Center, 1905 Workman Mill Rd., Whittier, Ca.

Mr. Logue is survived by his loving wife of 52 1/2 years, Joyce Logue of Apple Valley, his daughter, Katherine Marie Logue-Lopez of La Habra, and his sons, Robert Neal Logue of Corona and Jeffery Allen Logue of Bloomington, Illinois. He also leaves 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and his brother, Phillipe Huisman of San Dimas.
