Jacques J. Nouws C.M.

Reverend Jacques J. Nouws, C.M. age 88, passed away on September 13, 2007. After his ordination in 1946, Fr. Nouws came to the United Sates from the Netherlands in 1951. He served in many Ministries in the western United States during his 62 years of priesthood. Here in California, he taught Latin at Our Lady Queen of Angels Seminary from 1964 to 1970 and served as Chaplin at St. Vincent Medical Center in Los Angeles California from 1971 to 199o when he retired.
Vigil and funeral mass will be held at De Paul Evangelization Center, 1105 Bluff Road, Montebello, California 90640 -- (323) 721-6060. The vigil will be held on Monday, September 17, 2007 at 7:00 pm and the funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, September 18, 2007 at 10:00 am, with interment following at Calvary Cemetery, Los Angeles, California.
