Born on December 5, 1961, in Los Angeles, California, Gilbert’s life began in a city renowned for its diversity and vitality—a fitting foundation for a man whose warmth and strength touched so many. His unwavering dedication to his family and community was evident throughout his life’s journey.
Gilbert devoted over two decades of his career as a building engineer. His dedication to his work was matched only by his integrity and work ethic, striving for excellence while supporting colleagues and friends alike. Through the years, Gilbert was known for his reliability and the genuine care he showed to those around him, earning respect from peers and lasting friendships along the way.
At home, Gilbert found his greatest joy as a family man. He is survived by his beloved wife, Isabel Rodriguez, whose partnership and love were the cornerstones of his life. Together they built a family filled with warmth, laughter, and enduring unity. Gilbert’s legacy continues through his children: his son, Richard Perez, and his daughters, Raquel Rivera and Adrianna Rodriguez. Each of them carries forward his values of compassion, strength, and generosity in their lives.

Services will be held at the First Fundamental Bible Church, located at 11000 Washington Boulevard in Whittier, California. Visitation will begin on August 28, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. A reception will follow the funeral services in the church hall, providing an opportunity for all to come together, share memories, and celebrate Gilbert’s life.
Gilbert Frank Rodriguez will be remembered with gratitude and deep affection. He leaves behind a legacy of devotion, hard work, and kindness—qualities that continue to shape the lives of all who knew him.
