Gilbert Joseph Ramirez was born on September 4, 1933 in Los Angeles, California to Lorenzo Ramirez and Maria Perez and entered into eternal rest on September 13, 2015 in Upland, California. He was 82 years old. Gilbert proudly served the US Army and received an honorable discharge. More recently, Gilbert was employed as a quality control manager for a manufacturing company for several years.
Gilbert is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Petra Ramirez of Ontario, daughter Lydia Tyler of Ontario, daughter Sylvia (Thomas) Farrar of Ontario, daughter Valerie (John) Nunez of Kansas, son Vincent (Terri) Ramirez of Riverside, daughter Maria (Russ) Meives of Chino, son John Ramirez of Chino Hills and Gilbert Jr's, partner Douglas Fiondella of Chino Hills. He also leaves behind 19 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren with 2 more on the way, along with his four brothers; Charlie (Angie) Ramirez of San Gabriel, Hector (Bridget) Ramirez of Hacienda Heights, Rudy (Cheryl) Ramirez of Flagstaff AZ, Armando (Hilda) Ramirez of La Habra as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Gilbert was greeted at Heaven's Gate by his son Gilbert Ramirez Jr and his brother Lorenzo Ramirez Jr. who both preceded him in death.
