Felicitas Reyes

Felicitas (Estela) Reyes was born on May 18, 1943 in Mexico and entered into eternal rest on March 31, 2012 in Whittier, CA.
Estela was a hard worker, goal setter and an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, godmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed hearing her music day and night, the company of her friends and family. She was so giving, a great advisor, and most of all loving and compasionate with everyone. Her grandchildren meant the world to her. She was so proud of their individual talent and accomplishments. She has 13 grandchildren; 6 girls and 6 boys and one blessed angel.
Estela cared for foster kids for 22 years whom she loved and enjoyed what they have become as adults; mothers, educators, and serving our country. Her life was never a pause, she always had something going on and now from heaven up above we know she will keep everyone on their toes.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2012 from 6-9pm in the Risher Montebello Mortuary Chapel and Reception Center. A Catholic Vigil will be held on Monday, April 9, 2012 at 9:30am at St. Hilary Church in Pico Rivera, with Mass of the Christian Burial held the same morning at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
Estela is survived by her loving husband, Frank Reyes of Pico Rivera, her son Frank (Teresa) Reyes of Chino, her daughter, Sandy (Jesse) Reyes-Benitez of Santa Fe Springs and her sons, Edgar and Eric Reyes, both of Pico Rivera. She also leaves 13 special grandchildren and her siblings, 5 sisters and 3 brothers and numerous nieces and nephews.
