Elvia is survived by her loving daughter, Olivia Dye, grandson, Michael Dye, granddaughter, Jacquelyn Dye, sisters, Mirna Torres, Neria Martin, Eloina Apodaca, Gloria Gascon and Obdulia Duran. She is preceded in death by her sister Maria de Jesus Carlin.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at Risher Mortuary Chapel in Montebello, California, with the vigil beginning at 7:00 pm.
Funeral mass will be at 9:00 am on Thursday, March 5, 2009, at Saint Benedict Catholic Church in Montebello, California, with interment following at Resurrection Cemetery in Montebello, California.
