ELVA DOLORES CONTRERAS

Elva Dolores Contreras, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on October 18, 2025, in Loma Linda, California. Born on January 24, 1953, in El Paso, Texas, Elva was a vibrant spirit whose presence touched the lives of many.

For five years, Elva dedicated her career as an auditor for the Internal Revenue Service, where her keen eye for detail and commitment to excellence served her community well. Her professional achievements were a testament to her hard work and integrity.

Elva is remembered fondly by her daughters, Donna Franco and Sylvia Franco, her sons, Joshua Franco and Donny Franco, and her beloved grandson, Adrian. She was a devoted sister to Maria Parra, who will carry on her legacy in spirit.

In a poignant reunion beyond this life, Elva has met at Heaven's Gate her beloved sons, Joseph and Adrian, who had preceded her in death. Their memory will forever be intertwined in the hearts of those who loved her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on January 24, 2026, starting at 10:00 AM, followed by a Prayer Service at 11:00 AM. Both services will take place at Risher Mortuary & Cremation Service, located at 1316 W Whittier Blvd, Montebello, CA 90640.

Elva Dolores Contreras will be dearly missed, but her legacy will live on through her family and all whose lives she enriched with her love and kindness.
