Dorothy dedicated over 30 years of her life to serving as a secretary at a veterinary hospital, where her commitment to her work and kindness towards both animals and their owners made a lasting impact. Her professionalism and understanding nature were evident, and she took great pride in her role, building meaningful connections within the community.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Debbie True Casillas (John), and her grandchildren, Consuelo Beatrice Casillas, Isabel Casillas, Juan Casillas Jr., Ezequiel Casillas, Alexis Casillas, Vanessa Casillas, Taylor Casillas, Catherine Casillas, and Austin Casillas. Each of them carries forward her legacy of love, compassion, and unwavering support.
In celebration of her extraordinary life, a Celebration of Life service will be held on July 25, 2025, at Risher Mortuary & Cremation Service in Montebello, California, beginning at 11:30 AM. Following this, Dorothy will be laid to rest in a burial ceremony at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, California, at 1:00 PM.
