Diane Margaret Wynn, 68, was born to John and Irene Wynn in Los Angeles, CA on March 30, 1946, She entered into eternal rest on October 21, 2014 in Long Beach, CA. Diane lived most of her life in Bellflower.

An alumnus of California State University at Long Beach, she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science with a minor in English. She also earned a Master's Degree in Education. Diane taught in the Paramount Unified School District as an elementary school teacher for 40 years, retiring in 2008, but she continued to substitute at her old school Hollydale Elementary until 2014.

A devout Christian, she was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran in Downey for most of her life. In her younger years, she was active in the choir and taught Sunday school. In her final years, she helped out occasionally with the Lutheran Women's Missionary League.

Diane was a prolific reader who averaged a hundred books a year, reading a wide variety of genres, but mysteries and crime thrillers were here favorite.

She was known for her generous spirit, giving selflessly to her friends, family, church and charities. She truly believed in putting God first, others second and herself a distant third.

She was diagnosed with cancer on September 11, 2014, and fought valiantly to the end, perishing on October 21st at Long Beach Memorial Hospital.

She is survived and mourned by her younger siblings and their spouses: Barbara Krazel and husband Edward; John Wynn and wife Andrea; and Deborah Young and husband Adam. She will also be missed by a myriad of friends, colleagues, neighbors and fellow congregants.
