DENNIS KARL AUSTIN

DENNIS KARL AUSTIN, a beloved member of his community and a dedicated professional, passed away on August 14, 2025, in Huntington Beach, California, at the age of 72. Born on August 23, 1952, in Los Angeles, California, Dennis spent his life in the sunny melodies of Southern California, cultivating a passion for winter sports that would ultimately define his career.

For more than 30 years, he served as a sales representative in the ski industry, where his enthusiasm and expertise helped countless skiers find joy on the slopes. His impact on the industry was significant, as he built lasting relationships with clients, colleagues, and friends alike.

Dennis is survived by his cherished wife, Tracy Austin of Huntington Beach, who stood by him through the highs and lows of life. He was a proud father to his son, Jess Austin (Sachi) of Australia, and his daughters, Abbie Fletcher (Blake) and Allison Austin, both of Huntington Beach. His family brought him immense joy, and he took great pride in their accomplishments and adventures.

The light of Dennis’s life also shone brightly through his role as a grandfather to four beloved grandchildren: Stella Fletcher, Claire Fletcher, Matias Austin, and Flora Fletcher. He nurtured a special bond with each of them, imparting wisdom and a love for the outdoors that enriched their lives.
