DELLA BICKNELL

Della Bicknell, who graced the world with her kindness and diligence, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2025, at the age of 90 in Laguna Hills, California. Born on August 16, 1934, in Del Rio, Texas, Della was a beacon of love and strength her life.

Della dedicated over 45 years of her life to her career as a clerk for the Los Angeles Tax Collector's office, where her meticulous nature and unwavering commitment to her work became evident to all who knew her. She was respected not only for her professional contributions but also for the warm demeanor she brought to her colleagues.

Della is survived by her beloved family, which includes her son, Ken Bicknell, her daughter, Nancy Bicknell, and her daughter-in-law, Judie Bicknell. She cherished her role as a grandmother to five grandchildren and was a proud great-grandmother to three great-grandchildren. Her family was at the heart of everything she did, and they will carry forward her legacy of compassion and support.

Visitation services will be held on June 9, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Risher Mortuary & Cremation Service located at 1316 W Whittier Blvd, Montebello, CA. A Mass celebrating Della's life will take place the following day, June 10, 2025, at 9:30 AM at St. Benedict Church, 1022 West Cleveland Avenue, Montebello, CA. Della will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery, 966 Potrero Grande Drive, Rosemead, CA, following the Mass at 11:00 AM.

The family invites all those who knew Della to join them in honoring and remembering her remarkable life and the indelible mark she left on their hearts. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched.
