Consuelo I. Hernandez

Consuelo I. Hernandez was born on December 17, 1930 in Mexico and passed away peacefully on January 18, 2012 in her home in Los Angeles.
Consuelo previously worked in a foam mattress factory for 25 years. She loved spending time with her family, which was the most important thing in her life. She raised 6 nieces and nephews as her own and had a strong love for children. Consuelo loved gardening, raising her flowers and plants. She enjoyed going to San Manuel Casino and loved to travel.
A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 from 5-9pm in the Risher Montebello Mortuary Chapel. A Vigil service will be at 7pm the same evening. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at 10:00am at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
She is survived by her sister, Jesus Castaneda of Mexico, her brother, Fabian Hernandez of Montebello, her niece, Maria Ayon of Los Angeles, her nephews, Javier Ayon of Moreno Valley, Albert Ayon of Ontario and Carlos Ayon of Los Angeles. She leaves many other nieces and nephews.
