Charles Wesley Long

Charles Welsey Long, 102, was born on July 21, 1918 in Liberal, Kansas to Charles Edwin Long and Julia Mae Latimer, and entered into eternal rest on September 4, 2020 in West Covina, California.

Charles enlisted in the United States Army and was honorably discharged for his honorable and faithful service to our nation. He also dedicated over 20 years working as a machinist for the aerospace industry.

Charles is survived by his loving family: Children, Chuck and Sheila Long of Long Beach, Ca., David and Lisa Long of Bellflower, Ca., Bob Long of Bellflower, Ca., Gary and Cecilia Long of Hacienda Heights, Ca., 7 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren, as well as other family and friends who will miss him dearly.

Charles was met at the gates of Heaven by his wife Lorraine and daughter in law Cindy who both preceded him in death.
