She was a cherished mother and grandmother whose presence brought comfort and joy to all who knew her. She is survived by her six children: Gloria Morales, Michael Mendez, Marie Mendez, George Mendez, Gloria Morales, and Noel Mendez. Her legacy continues through her seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

Family was the cornerstone of Altagracia’s existence. She dedicated herself to nurturing and supporting her loved ones, instilling values of kindness and resilience. Her impact on her family’s lives has been profound and enduring.

A visitation to honor Altagracia’s memory will take place on June 15, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Risher Mortuary & Cremation Service, located at 1316 W Whittier Blvd, Montebello, California. Following this, a Mass to celebrate her life will be held on June 16, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe in El Monte, California.
