ALFRED PEREZ, a devoted father, grandfather, and proud Army veteran, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2026, in his hometown of Los Angeles, California, at the age of 76.

Born on May 11, 1950, in Los Angeles, Alfred embodied the spirit and character of his beloved city throughout his life. He cherished his roots and the community that shaped him from his earliest days.

His unwavering commitment to service was most notably reflected in his time with the Army. Alfred served his country with honor and pride, exemplifying the highest values of duty and dedication. In recognition of his service, he will receive his final resting place at Riverside National Cemetery, a solemn tribute befitting his sacrifice and devotion.

Family remained the cornerstone of Alfred’s life. He was blessed with two daughters, Aileen Perez and Alecia Perez, and a son, Ronny Ventura, who survive him and forever carry his strength and wisdom in their hearts. Known to his grandchildren—Isabela Smith, Marcus Gallardo III, Matthew Gallardo, Sebastian Smith, Casey Ventura, Lincoln Ventura, and Reese Ventura—as a source of warmth, guidance, and encouragement, Alfred held each of them close.

The memory of his beloved wife, Lillian Perez, remained ever-present for Alfred. He loved her deeply and felt her absence profoundly after she passed. The strong bond they shared was a guiding light throughout his life and continues to inspire his family today.
