Alberto E. Marquez Jr., 40, was born in Los Angeles on August 24, 1973 and passed away on February 4, 2014 in Boyle Heights, Ca.

Mr. Marquez was a Clerk for the Los Angeles County Assessor's Office for 14 years and also served in the United States Army.

Alberto is survived by his loving family: mother Gloria Mejia, sister Alva Eagle, and brother Eddie Veliz. He is also the proud uncle of his nephews: Johnny Carrillo, Michael Carrillo, and Matthew Ceballos.
Alberto was greeted at Heavens Gate by his loving father Alberto Marquez who preceeded him in death.

A Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, February 15, 2014 at the Risher Montebello Mortuary Chapel from 5:00 - 9:00 pm, with a Vigil beginning at 7:00 pm.
